What Happens to My Stuff?

At 1 800 RID OF IT Junk Removal we care about what happens to the stuff we take away from our clients.  We have built strong relationships with various charitable and recycling organizations in the communities we service and we are pleased to share our resources with the public.  For a list in your area, click on your community in the yellow sticky.

Our largest charitable partnership in each community is with the local furniture bank.  We work with these organizations to ensure your gently used items are given to the best possible home. Further we donate our trucks and crews to these organizations throughout the year as well as through special events.

We are continually researching various recycling options.  We currently have recycling programs in place for used or broken appliances, tires, electronics, construction waste, paper, wood, metal, cardboard and plastic.  Because we hand load our trucks, our staff can sort items and materials that can be diverted from our landfills.  In fact, our staff receives bonuses based on the amount of materials they recycle.
